Overview

SØAD Framework is a lightweight, Java-based1 web framework designed for rapid application development. It is a successor to the SUFIA Framework, enhanced and refined to better serve modern enterprise application needs.

The primary goal of SØAD Framework is to let developers focus on what truly matters: building the business logic of their application—without getting bogged down by the technical intricacies of integrating multiple frameworks, tools, or libraries.

SØAD is convention-based, action-driven, and sits on top of the Java Servlet specification, working conceptually similar to frameworks like Apache Struts 2 or Spring MVC. It comes bundled with an embedded application server and can run as a standalone server application. It is also container-ready and integrates seamlessly into Kubernetes environments.
